Painting of a Man in Red Chalk
The painting of the man in Red Chalk almost resembles Plato, a Greek philosopher. Many have discussed that Leonardo's self-portrait have more sketches extending his appearance such as hands, side-profiles and so on but they have not been recovered or found in any of his notebooks.
This is a nice sketch portrait of Leonardo Da Vinci. Compared to his self-portrait, he looks very young as an adult but his facial hair is kept the same with the red chalk painting.
Nothing can be said about his hairstyle since it's concealed with a hat.
This is the sketch of a self-portrait of Leonardo Da Vinci. The sketch is a three-quarter view of Da Vinci. He has long hair and a wavering beard which is very uncommon in Renaissance portraits considering how portraits of Renaissance men were either muscular or short hair in general.
